Oftentimes, the recipient of a transmittal may request updated revisions of documents that you previously sent to them in a transmittal. This is particularly true when the recipient will merely reference documents that you are changing and the recipient is not responsible for making changes themselves. In this situation, you need to send the recipient another transmittal that includes the latest revisions of the documents that you originally sent. Recreating the transmittal can be a tedious process, especially if it contained many documents. The Meridian Transmittal Management Module simplifies this task by updating an existing transmittal with the latest document revisions and metadata in a single step. You can then send the updated transmittal to the recipient again without creating duplicate transmittals in the vault.
